Durham Dolphins Football, formerly known as the Ajax-Pickering Dolphins, rebranded in 2014 to better represent the broader community. With over 50 years of proud history, the program has consistently developed talent, captured provincial championships, and produced numerous league MVPs.
The Dolphins have competed in the Ontario Minor Football League (OMFL) and other youth football circuits, earning a reputation for excellence, discipline, and resilience. The club has helped many athletes transition to university and collegiate programs across Canada and the U.S.
Notable alumni include Nathan Shepherd and Isaiah Adams, both NFL draft picks, as well as Kris Robertson, Shane Herbert, Matthew Boateng, and Alonzo Addae who all of whom once proudly wore the Dolphins’ Teal and Orange.
The DDF program is excelling both on and off the field. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and event staff, our home games have become the talk of the town. With a live DJ, in-game commentary, and an energetic atmosphere, every guest enjoys more than just football, they enjoy a full game-day experience.
At DDF, we expect nothing when athletes first join the program. Instead, we focus on identifying each player’s strengths and placing them in the best possible situation to grow and thrive.
Regardless of a player’s background or knowledge of the game, our coaches are committed to motivating, educating, and supporting every athlete to ensure they reach their full potential.
